Published to document root not working

I’ve used cPanel site publisher to publish the under construction site to both my main domain and also a test.domain.com. I’ve verified the files are under the respective document root

However, accessing the site, no matter what I do, always gives me the 

Default Server Page

The technical support email at inMotion seems to take forever to get a response, and the chat usually longer than 30 minutes, hopefully I can get some answers more quickly?

As to your response, the problem isn’t only WordPress. I’ve published files to other domains, the DNS settings are fine, but no matter what’s in the document root for the domains, it doesn’t show up when accessing the sites

I will try chat again later in the day, but it really would be nice to have more timely support

The email is monitored and how we manage email tickets. There have been more peaks of high volume within the last few months. I generally recommend the email as you're guaranteed a response or Live Chat with all of the important information already there while working on something else during the wait.

While monitoring the Community Support Center, we'll do what we can to provide general assistance.

It's better to use Softaculous to install and manage WordPress. I recommend checking your DNS settings regarding your Default Server page.

Additionally, I attempted to create a WP site via the cPanel WordPress Manager. I created wp.americasnet.com and it installed the WP files at the document root, and I verified via the file manager. However, if I attempt to login to admin with wp-login.php it gives me a File not found error
